This policy explains what information Wixly collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our marketing site, dashboard, and API.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated by using the platform, and limited information from your device.

  • Account information: name, email, business name, and password
  • Billing information: processed by our payment provider — we don’t store full card numbers
  • Contact & recipient data: phone numbers, email addresses, and other contact details you upload to send messages to
  • Usage data: API requests, message logs, delivery status, and dashboard activity
  • Device data: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics from the marketing site

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the platform.

  • To deliver the messages you send through SMS and email providers
  • To authenticate your account and secure access to the dashboard and API
  • To calculate usage, process billing, and manage messaging credits
  • To provide support and respond to your requests
  • To monitor for abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service

Message content & recipient data

Message content and recipient contact details you send through Wixly belong to you. We process this data only to deliver your messages and provide delivery tracking — we don't read, sell, or use it to market to your recipients.

We retain message logs long enough to provide delivery status and support, and in line with the retention periods below.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the platform:

  • With telecom and email providers, solely to deliver the messages you send
  • With payment processors, to handle billing and credit purchases
  • With infrastructure and analytics vendors who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the platform

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Message logs and delivery data are retained for a limited period to support delivery tracking and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to what we’re required to retain for legal or billing purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and API key authentication — to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep API keys confidential.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information.

  • View and update your account information from the dashboard at any time
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting us
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing emails via the unsubscribe link

Our marketing site and dashboard use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children's privacy

Wixly is intended for businesses and developers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the platform is not directed at individuals under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect.
